I’m in love with Charlie

Rae has this fabulous “Charlie” tunic pattern I cannot stop making as a dress.

Latest incarnation is this Iro Muji double gauze from 2008, with vintage buttons and “porcelain” contrast from Marcus fabrics.

Ella loves to wear it, but she’s not thrilled with the colors. I am.

It is beautiful, I love the fabric. Did you just make a little A line in order to make it a dress. I will try one also. It is really nice

Hi Maria, I did make it A-line, about 3 inches from the underarm seam.  I used the selvedge from the Iro Muji as a hem for the sleeves and the dress hem, but it’s pretty straight, so no hem facing would be required, but it *is* cute with a hem facing!!
