I run, I craft, I write, and I make your favorite clothes.

I have written books about sewing for children and adults and I'm the indie designer’s patternmaking secret weapon. I've taught video and in-person classes to anyone who would listen since 2008. Pin It!

I spent the day working on WORK, but I captured one of our many front porch mandalas the other day and I thought I’d share, since there’s nothing interesting to report.

That’s a neat idea! — and so much more environmentally friendly than doing the same thing on reams of paper. I wish we had some sort of hardscape for chalk drawings. Gravel is just not the same:)

No gravel isn’t the same…works on the wood deck in back here, too, though. and I didn’t say there wasn’t much going on….just nothing “to report”…nobody wants to hear about my sitting in from of the computer all day trying to cram together a website while my kids play with my mom and I’m all alone in the room with a closed door :(

Ah, not a great way to spend a day, I’m sorry about that. (Though in different circumstances, alone in a room with a closed door almost sounds peaceful, especially if it’s the bathroom :) )
