New PDF Pattern Shop

Hi there!  Have you heard about Craftsy? I’ve signed up for a couple virtual classes, and I’m *really* happy with the content and environment over there.  You should go check it out:

I am super-excited about my new pattern shop over there. I opened up on Monday, and started selling right away.  There are loads of knitting and crochet patterns, and a growing number of sewing patterns from Indie designers.

Shelly and I are still selling the Patterns by Figgy’s styles in PDF format, and it was time to give them a home, since Patterns by Figgy’s is now Figgy’s Patterns. Just in case you haven’t already gone and checked out Shelly’s new line of patterns on her new site, you can go have a look and participate in her sewalong starting soon.

You can always find the previously released PBF PDFs in my shop on Craftsy.

I have a new line of my own in the works, and I really can’t wait to share with you.  You can expect some sneak peeks soon, before I launch the new styles this summer.

Thanks so much for all your continued support over the years.

KCWC Day 2 (&3)

I know I missed the first day, but TRUST me, I was doing something kids’ clothes related.  I cannot tell you about it now, but it was a big and busy deadline day.

I went into the storage room next to my sewing space so I could pull out the rest of my fabrics from when my friend Miranda was living here (she had a lovely bedroom in what is now my sewing space again).  I found a lot of knits I forgot I had.  That’s a good thing.  Also, since I’ve been whining forever about not having time to make a long-sleeved Tee For Two, I was delighted to see elsiemarley had one made for her lovely daughter in yesterday’s initial KCWC post.

Ella keeps begging me for a blue dress.  Ready, Set Go!

I went downstairs with the little punk to cut out a “light blue, soft dress with long sleeves for cool weather—

so excited I can taste it!

WTH: Where have I been, you might be wondering?”
